At CLR we weave together a family of conceptual principles and ideologies to inform our approach to continually pushing the boundaries of zoo design to solve our clients’ unique challenges and create better solutions for, and connections among, the animals, visitors, and staff. CLR Design helped to develop many of the concepts and trends that are now routinely found in contemporary zoo design, and our staff today carries that spirit of innovation forward by exploring new possibilities with every project. By incorporating and balancing these diverse design concepts we continually raise the bar in addressing the questions of “what is a zoo, what should a zoo do, and what can a zoo be?”
